Your Weekly Automotive Feed

Phase I

About

AutoFeed came to me sort of randomly as a way to quickly publish some recent pictures of the 2008 New York International Auto Show as well as some comments about a few of the vehicles that caught my attention. I wanted to get a site out there that would allow for me to get the pictures posted but also allow a little room for growth if it came down to it. I’ve been attending the Connecticut Auto Show since its inception and this will be my 2nd year at the New York Auto Show.

As an auto enthusiast I find the automotive industry’s past, present and future intriguing. Not from the perspective where I understand all the details of automotive history but from the perspective where I have a good understanding of where its been, where it is now and where it is heading. Over the past century the auto industry has faced many struggles and has had many successes. Just consider for a minute that in September 1908 the first affordable car rolled off the assembly line at the Picquette Plant in Detroit Michigan. The Ford Model T became the car know to put America on wheels. Here we are just 100 years later at the begining of the century and Honda released the first production fuel cell vehicle, the Honda FCX Clarity.
