Nissan Skyline GT-R

I was driving into work a few weeks ago and saw the Porter and Chester Nissan Skyline driving on the highway. I caught this vehicle in my rear view mirror and literally paused for a brief moment. What is that? My first instict was a WRX with a wide body kit on it. Then as it neared a bit closer I noticed the pilot sitting opposite of where he should be. Then the brain started to ponder through the inventory of vehicle archives in my head, what is it? It hit me with in seconds, this is a Nissan Skyline. So I can’t say that the first time I saw a Nissan Skyline in the flesh was 3/22/2008 at the 2008 NY International Auto Show, it was afew weeks prior to that. Is this a sign? Seeing 2 different Nissan Skylines in the states all with in about 3 weeks of each other, is my Honda mentality fading away? Is it destined that maybe this is the car I’ll be driving in a few years? Only time will tell…. Stay tuned…!

Nissan Motorsports 350Z

After pondering a bit about what car really caught my attention at the 2008 NY International Auto Show, I think the Nissan Motorsports 350z tops the list. The Nissan vehicles have been growing on me for some time now, starting around the time the 350z came to us and this one just makes the line grow on me that much more.

2008 NY International Auto Show

So I was able to attend the 2008 international auto show this year. It was a pretty cool time. I traveled down there with a good group of folks. It was certainly a good feeling being down in the Manhatten area again (I don’t get the chance to get there that often) and the cars on display made it well worth the 2 hr trip down. I am particular to the design of the vehicles myself, it is nothing for me to walk through an autoshow with out stopping to look at all the details about the different vehicles. That’s what I enjoy about the auto shows that I attend.

Over the next few days I will try to get a few postings up on this site focusing on the design of the vehicles that really caught my attention.
